Disaster Infographic Four-Page Spread
In March of 2011, the eastern coast of Japan was struck by a huge tsunami. The damage it dealt to the country was as sudden as it was immense, and both the human and infrastructural costs were staggering.
Ten years later, on the anniversary of the disaster, this 4-page spread was designed to create visuals of the destructive magnitude of multiple aspects of the event. The timeframe, the geographic impact, the destruction, and the aftermath are rendered in a grim pallette and cold, minimal graphics.
